Connects Microsoft Excel 2003 and 2007 Pivot Tables to JasperAnalysis and other OLAP servers that support the standard XML for Analysis (XML/A) SOAP protocol. Jaspersoft ODBO Connect is included with JasperAnalysis Professional.

Jaspersoft ODBO Connect combines the power and trust of enterprise BI with the familiarity of Microsoft Excel. No longer do users have to build their own Excel spreadsheets, resulting in the creation of local data and inconsistencies in reporting. For business decision makers—and the people that crunch data for them—Microsoft Excel is ubiquitous. Users now have the power of analyzing data from a central store of data with the flexibility of an Excel interface using Jaspersoft ODBO Connect with the Jaspersoft Business Intelligence Suite.
Jaspersoft ODBO Connect enables Microsoft Excel 2003 and 2007 Pivot Tables to work with JasperAnalysis and other OLAP servers that support the XML for Analysis (XML/A) SOAP protocol, such as Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services and Mondrian. After you setup the Jaspersoft ODBO data source, business analysts can use Excel Pivot Tables as a front-end for for doing their OLAP analysis.
